Infonetics' quarterly service provider database tracks more than 160 competitive, incumbent, wireless, independent wireless, satellite, and cable operators in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA), Asia Pacific, and the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA). The database, which includes searchable and sortable pivot tables, data, and charts, provides service provider demographics; capex, opex, and revenue per provider in USD from 2000 to 2013; capex-to-revenue and opex-to-revenue ratios; broadband, mobile, video and voice subscribers per operator per quarter from 2004 to now; mobile ARPU for prepaid and postpaid subscribers; and sub-region and country level data where available for subscribers and access lines.

Infonetics report reveals top telecom service provider spenders and moneymakers
Campbell, CALIFORNIA, April 11, 2013-Market research firm Infonetics Research today released preliminary data on the world's top 60 telecom service providers by revenue from its quarterly Service Provider Capex, Opex, Revenue, and Subscribers Database. The full edition of the database, which tracks more than 160 operators worldwide, will be published April 30.
"NTT, which passed AT&T as the top revenue-generating service provider in 2011, remains the number-one service provider in the world in terms of revenue and capital expenditures, and in 2012 it became the leader in terms of operating expenses as well," notes Maria Zeppetella, market analyst manager at Infonetics Research and lead analyst on the report.
Zeppetella adds, "Telef?nica Group leads among European operators in terms of capex, revenue and opex."
