Ethernet switch revenue returns to year-over-year growth in Q3 Boston, MASSACHUSETTS, December 11, 2013-Market research firm Infonetics Research released vendor market share and analysis from its 3rd quarter (3Q13) Ethernet Switches report. ANALYST NOTE "Year-over-year growth returned to the Ethernet switch market in the third quarter of 2013, and quarterly revenue hit a new high of $5.3 billion. While Cisco's weak outlook injects some uncertainty, there were lots of positive indicators, including double-digit growth in North America and evidence of a turnaround in EMEA. Among the bright spots is 40G, for which port shipments are on track to triple this year," expects Matthias Machowinski, directing analyst for enterprise networks and video at Infonetics Research. 3Q13 ETHERNET SWITCH MARKET HIGHLIGHTS
